Matches​

  • Creating instances of matches: Users can create their own matches or challenge other users to matches. When creating a match, the user must specify the following:
    • Teams involved
    • Game title
    • Date and time of the match
    • Wager amount
    • Dispute resolution process
  • Joining matches: Other users can join a match by accepting the challenge or by bidding on the outcome of the match.

Example:

  • User A creates a match between Team A and Team B.
  • User B accepts the challenge.
  • User C places a bid of \$50 on Team B to win.
  • User A accepts the bid.
  • The match is now confirmed, with three users participating.

Resolutions​

  • Result of match: After the match is complete, the match creator must submit the result of the match. Anyone can submit a result, but the first one submitted will be recorded. If anyone disagrees with the submitted result, they can dispute it.
  • Dispute resolution process: If a result is disputed, the users involved will have 8 hours to submit proof to support their claims. After 8 hours, or if all parties agree, a team will review the evidence and make a final decision. The funds will then be transferred from escrow to the winner's wallet.

Example:

  • User A submits the result of the match, with Team A winning.
  • User B disputes the result, claiming that Team B actually won.
  • User B submits proof to support their claim (e.g., a screenshot of the match results).
  • A team reviews the evidence and determines that Team B actually won.
  • The funds are transferred from escrow to User B's wallet.
